Off to Pop and TuTu's for a Sunday visit....

Okay, TuTu is Grandmother in Hawaiian for some of you that don't know! We enjoyed ourSunday stroll to Duncanville today-that is about 1 hour south of McKinney and across the river....The Trinity River that is...but it is well worth the journey. Jacob enjoys his visits with his Grandparents and their 4 dogs. It usually is a circus when we arrive since we bring Rebel and Ace. 4 adults, 1 baby, and 6 dogs...you do the math!

So the news of the day.... we were able to get my work computer up and running at Tutu's house so I can have help when Jonathan goes out of town. Most of you know that Jonathan travels some for work and I usually freak out since the boxers can be quite challenging and now we have a newborn to care for. But, crisis solved! My parents will be able to help me with Jacob and the boxers while I remain working. They might choose another river to move across after we invade their lives for a week at a time. We shall see!

Are you ready for some football

Since my first football season is less than two months away I thought I would practice sitting up on the couch watching television. I can't wait to see who will be screaming louder me because I'm hungry or Daddy because of something that happened in the game. Mommy told me she can hardly wait because its her favorite time of the year.

Better late than never...

Well you asked for it so here is the beginning of the Black Family Blog. We are hoping this blog will help our friends and family keep up with our ever changing family. A little about us - we began our journey together three years ago through the wonders of modern technology... Eharmony. We were married a year later and our journey as The Blacks began. On April 13, 2009 God blessed our lives again with the birth of our son Jacob Kenneth. On that night, our "Team Jacob" was born (obviously this is not related to The Twilight Series). The last two months have been an amazing journey watching him grow and bless our lives and we hope to share that with all of you as well.

Bare with us and stay tuned there is much more to come!!!!
